PURE

I’m clear in my mind
Pure… Arctic Ocean
Stark and desolate
Expelling moments
My desire is solitude
being on guard & free
I hold & release two
Both, simultaneously
When pure in the heart
That’s when darkness approaches,
Coming in sweetly
Affecting ferocious/
I’ve been a victim
For more than a decade,
My armor is up now
Been afraid of the repaid/
Debts or those threats,
Man, I got so many scars
Make me appear wild…
However, wisdom goes far/
And no matter what happens
They’ll always be those,
Who remind you of life
love you in joy or in woe:
Allow them into your space,
Give yourself peace just to take/
Carry it close to your heart,
Leaving Your fears behind bars/
For in the company of self
You’re never really alone,
past can plague us at times
This is our test to get grown/
When you begin to realize
That enough is enough
